Textured Vs. Smooth FRP

Smooth FRP panels definitely have a more modern look, but can show scratches and wear faster than textured FRP. Pebbled FRP or Textured FRP hides everyday wear and use best and is a versatile and cost-friendly waterproof wall panel option. 

Direct Supply stocks smooth grey and white FRP panels. Stocked FRP Trims are universal for textured and smooth panels. 

What's the difference between smooth vs pebbled FRP?

The thickness and texture vary between smooth and pebbled, AKA textured FRP. Smooth offers a more modern-looking FRP option and a more matte finish. Textured FRP is thicker, shinier, and hides everyday wear significantly better than smooth.

Thickness 

Smooth FRP panels are 075 and Textured at 090 thickness. 

Trims

Direct Supply stocks coordinating trims for all our stock FRP including outside corners, inside corners, division bars (aka H channel) and end caps (aka J channel). Trims are all 10’.
